We spent the entire day at Universal Studios Florida on Wednesday, September 29th. Since we have the whole trip as well as the next seven months to power through, I'll keep the words brief.
I will say that late September was a fabulous time to visit the park. The crowd calendars were on green (minimal crowds) and we barely waited in any lines.
We visited Florida and the parks during the Delta surge of Covid, but we masked the whole time and none of us got the virus.
Oh it was glorious!
The Owl Post
Time for our first butter beer.
Glorious! Complete heaven in a cup.
Escape from Gringotts. Notice the line markers and the lack of any line.
Both kids got wands from Olivanders.
Time for some lunch at The Leaky Cauldron.
Pumpkin juice.
OK, apparently we went into Olivanders before lunch but bought the wands after lunch. I figured that out based on the sequence of the pictures.
Doing spells
The vanishing cabinet in Borgin and Burkes
Knockturn alley was inside, but it looked and felt like it was outside, except that it was about 55 degrees in there. It was fantastic!
Ice cream from Florean Fortescue's at the end of the day.
I think we finished the park and then went back to Diagon Alley, but I didn't take any other pictures in the rest of the park.
I don't remember about the others but I got Sticky Toffee Pudding and Earl Grey & Lavender. Both quite delightful.
And of course we had to get the Universal Globe, but on the way out because it was less busy.
That night we got food delivered to the hotel and spent the evening relaxing. It was perfect.
