We started Thursday (October 7th) at the Fruit and Nut Park in Homestead. We took a tram tour around the grounds and learned about all of the plants. 
What? Are we in Arizona!?
There were samples too!
Then it was off to Miami and a swim at South Beach.
Driving around Miami on the way to the hotel.
We ate dinner at a big shopping and entertainment area called Bayside Marketplace.
Then went on the Sky View Ferris Wheel.
It was impossible to get a picture of the entire thing from under it, so I took a picture of the introductory video.
We rode it at sunset, which was lovely.
Breast cancer ribbon made out of lights in the building!
Then back to the hotel. It was supposed to have an urban grunge feel. I think it just looked unfinished.
I mean, seriously. Translucent window coverings on the windows?
The shower was awesome though.
