Tue Oct 5- Key West

Since we had arrived in Key West after the sunset on Monday, Tuesday morning (October 5th) was our first look at the view from our room......or should I say rooms, because we got upgraded to two adjoining rooms.

Rooster by the pool!

Rooster by the place we ate breakfast.

After a delightful breakfast of crepes, we headed to the Southernmost Point.

We had to wait in line to get this picture!

It was being painted!

Then to the beach for some swimming.

We toured Fort Taylor after our dip in the ocean.

More roosters!

Our hotel was across the street from a TJ Maxx, and Spencer didn't have a rash guard shirt, so we stopped in for some shopping before heading back to the hotel.

After some rest and showers we headed back out again.

We took a tour of the Hemingway house and grounds.

Cats!

A woman on our tour, LEGIT, asked how this cat got up there. She honestly could not understand that cats can walk and jump.

Hemingway's writing room, in a separate building.

Then we walked around the Key West Cemetery.

It is so creepy and choatic.  I can't even stand it.

We ate key lime pie for dinner (we had a big and late lunch, so it was OK),

and then took a walking ghost tour that night.

That's me on the right.  Spirits were communicating with me.

Our tour guide who is a book author and ghost hunter.

Up next: more trip!
