Elliott turns 7

Elliott slept in until after 10 am on his birthday.  It had been a late night the night before and thank goodness the kids will sleep in when they go to bed late.

He had requested donuts for breakfast, so look.  Donuts.

Donuts with a candle!
This was his reaction.  Why?  Because he wanted three sprinkle donuts, not just two.  You'll also notice the candle started in one donut and ended in another.  That's because we moved it to about four donuts before he went back to the original combination.
I threatened and bribed after breakfast and despite his horrible attitude, we actually got some decent pictures for his official seven year old shot.

As well as his block shot.

And then it was time to head to Hadley's second birthday party.  Monica and Rick and Hadley are visiting from Colorado and had Hadley's party at her dad's house so they could see everyone in one shot.

Mmmmm.  Food.

Hadley decorating cookies with her grandpa.

They had a cake for Elliott too.

We sang to Elliott, Hadley and Brendan.

Presents!

I had to get my pictures with Hadley before we left.

It's getting pretty epic now.

Birthday twins 43 years apart.  I should have made a 50 shirt for Brendan.
Back at home Elliott's attitude remained horrific.  He was pretty much a jerk the whole day.

We did presents, hoping it would help his mood.  It didn't.

Noise canceling headphones.

Space book

Space shirt

Space trivia game

Moon pillow

Light up moon
Cash from us. Do you see the little picture in the card? That's a pillow case we ordered that won't be delivered until January.

Cash from Michael's parents.

Check from my parents.

And a real telescope from my parents.
There are no pictures from the rest of the day because unless you wanted pictures of Elliott being mean and rude, there's nothing to see.

He wanted to stay home for dinner and have chocolate chip pancakes.  After that I think we made him go to bed because we couldn't take it anymore.
