Sorry for the delay in getting the post for Day #3 done. There was an asthma situation and an almost 2 am trip to the ER and I was just plumb tuckered out yesterday.
Day 3 started with autopia.
Spencer was pretty excited to drive the car. He only stalled it once.
Disneyland was having a special thing last weekend called Family Fun Days. Basically they set up an area with backdrops and places to wait and brought out rarely seen characters. People were able to vote on the Disney website for what characters they wanted to see. I'm not sure why waiting in line to see a character is considered family fun, but, whatever.
We had the autograph book ready to go.
We met Chip and Dale,
and Daisy. You would think that Daisy wouldn't fit into the "rarely seen" category, but let me tell you- she does. Evidence #1- We bought a lollipop on Main street. On it are Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto and Goofy. No Daisy. Evidence #2- We bought a mug. Daisy's head is just barely visible in the background. All the other characters are prominently displayed. Evidence #3- Toontown. Mickey's house, Pluto's Dog house, Minnie's house, Goofy's house, Donald's boat, Chip and Dale's tree house. Daisy apparently bums around, walking the streets and looking for couches to sleep on. Evidence #4- Main Street. All the other characters were out there every day, multiple times a day. But never, not once, was Daisy there. The Disney people are pissed at her for some unknown reason.
Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow.
Peter Pan, Wendy, Smee and Captain Hook. Spencer wanted nothing to do with Captain Hook without Michael.
After all the characters we went to Tom Sawyer's Island.
We played in tree houses and caves.
Then. More ice cream.
And a photo session with character statues.
Evidence #5-How interesting that they have the white rabbit from Alice in Wonderland (Really? The white rabbit? Does that dude even have a true name?), but NO DAISY. I'd blame it on Daisy coming across as rather promiscuous, but it's not really her fault. The Disney people drew her like that.
Back to Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.
And the story book boat ride.
Our very last ride, as is our custom, was what we went on first: Pirates of the Carribean. Michael and I always do the same ride first and last, although it is not always Pirates of the Carribean.
And then. And then it was done, and we were sad. We're still a little sad.
There's still one more post about our trip though. Yes, my friends, the 50/50 burger at Slaters. We went, we ordered, we ate. And you can read about it tomorrow.

Your vacation went by fast! Spencer looks so cute in all these pictures. He must have had a great time!
You guys did SO much more than we did I think. Spencer is a trooper!
I am not a Disney person (at all) but your posts are making me totally wish we were there RIGHT NOW.
We know all about Daisy getting the shaft. We tried to get "Daisy" things for "Daisy" aka Brianna for Christmas. I had to settle for Daisy stickers! How lame...looks like fun!
Right before I got to the part where you mention about Disney drawing up Daisey a bit promiscuous, I was thinking that her skirt looked too short for young children. Maybe she's also kind of dumb...something about that bow. She doesn't look so smart to me. Yep, I'm convinced. Dumb & slutty. Double D. Daisy Duck. I hope you've all adjusted back to normal life, where larger than life animals in clothes don't walk among us on streets lined with lollipops!
Daisy Miracle! - Hadley got some mickey mouse clubhouse play dough from Daisy (Bri). Of course there are 5 colors of play dough with 5 characters on the top. Why they can't just make 6 colors and include all the characters is beyond me. Anyway, I was looking at it to see who was "missing" and guess what...it's Donald who is absent! I feel there should be a celebration for Daisy's small victory!
All these things I never knew about Daisy.
