Catching up: July 18th

My brother and his family left Tucson to fly home to Florida really early on Sunday, July 18th.  We left to drive home later that day.

We got stuck in about 30 minutes of slow moving traffic because of this:
It was so terribly burned we couldn't even figure out what it had been.   The emergency crews were all still there and they had just barely gotten the fire out.
Monday the 19th I took Spencer to his school to find his classes and get class lists.  Photo edited for privacy.

Kevin missed us while we were gone.

That night was meet the teacher for Elliott.

There was a really cool moon hiding behind a cloud that night.

Kevin on the last day of summer vacation.

The kids started school on the 21st.  I'll do a whole post, but here is a sneak peek.

I planted sunflowers from seed this summer and the first one bloomed that day!  A good sign for a great year.

Kevin resting after the busy morning.

We went out to brunch.

Reunited after school.

Thursday the 22nd.  I just like this series of pictures.

And this series too, which was actually the same day.  Apparently we changed the sheets mid-day.

Saturday the 24th.  I like how Kevin is our infant child and we co-sleep.
