My mom designated me the Easter egg dyer this year. She saw an article about this special, wonderful egg dye and actually ordered it off the internet. The people in the article threw huge egg dyeing parties and created Monet-like masterpieces. They even made their own little egg dyeing brushes. Not to be one-upped by some random unknown people in a magazine article, I countered with my own homemade egg dye brushes. I made them out of a new mop, toothpicks and blue tape.
They didn't work worth a DAMN! Next year I encourage my mom to stick with Paas Easter egg dye. It's more economical and works just as well.
The eggs don't look half bad, just nothing like the ones in the magazine.
