Braces off and actual socializing

I was standing in line at Ross on Sunday the 11th when I saw this purse.  It was such an unusual shape I needed to take a picture.  What would you put in there?  A bottle of wine?  Is this a wine carrier and not a purse?  If so, I should have bought it!

Spencer got his phase two braces taken off on Tuesday the 13th.  

Here's a comparison from April 2017 (phase one braces removed) to April 2021 (phase two braces removed). 

I had the same orthodontist as an adult, so here's our comparisons together.

I had gone to the dermatologist that day.  She asked how I got this scratch and I had no idea.  I didn't even know it was there until she pointed it out.  I have no feeling in either arm pit.

Lauren had an in-person get together for the sisterhood on Saturday the 17th.  It was our first one in 14 months.

This post is mostly about Kevin.  Not anything important, just pictures. 

FYI....I'm going to try to blow through blogging the rest of April in the next couple of days.

I was driving home from dropping Spencer off at school on Monday the 5th when I saw this license plate.  I thought it was so cool.  Elliott thought it was just OK.

Tuesday, April 6th 

We took our winter comforter off the bed and it was in the guest room waiting to go to the cleaners.  Kevin thought it was better than his bed.

We had a yellow/sun themed zoom that day. We also voted to hold family zooms every three weeks instead of weekly.  We made it an entire year+ with weekly though.  That's pretty good.  

A festive Easter house- 2021

I feel like we've been doing an awful lot of festive house tours lately.  I guess because there was less than two months between Valentine's Day and Easter, with St. Patrick's Day thrown in for good measure. This is the last one until 4th of July though.  Enjoy!

I loved the entry way table this year.  I thought about leaving just this up for a month, but ultimately did not.

I usually put all the stuffed bunnies on this bench, but Kevin thought they were for him, so I moved the pillow and then put all the bunnies up high. You can go on a scavenger hunt to look for them. 

This also came down because Kevin went after the birds.
