Spencer and I finished our 6-week Mommy and Me Pottery class last week.
Our first projects were two fall-themed bowls. I did one and he did one. Can you guess who did what?
They were screaming out for some M & M's.
Our second project was an owl bowl. His beak fell off in a tragic incident involving the pottery kiln. We're waiting for a donor beak to become available.
In the meantime, he was hooting out for some candy corn.
Our final projects were a pumpkin plate and a bird's nest. We ran out of time the day we made these and didn't actually make a bird for the nest. A trip to Michael's or Hobby Lobby is planned to purchase a suitable bird to place inside.
Until said bird can be located, however, both vessels seemed suitable for some Rolos.
In summary, this is what we got out of the pottery class:
5 candy bowls
They are all on the coffee table and they are all visited by a certain 4-year-old multiple times a day.
We signed up for the next 6-week session, and that started yesterday. Our first project is a turkey plate.
I think it will be used for fresh fruit. Maybe pears.
If we can't find any, maybe some mini 3 musketeers bars.
