Pinecone Bird Feeder

Step 1:

Watch Special Agent Oso- Episode: Goldfeather
The real "meat" of the episode is from 3:40 to 10:10.

Step 2:

Wait until your mom is in the bathroom and inexplicably cover your shirt with stickers.  Now you're ready to go.

Step 3:

Pick a pinecone.  It's just a bonus if you happen to have a big pot of them next to the front door.

Step 4:

Assemble your supplies.

Step 5:

Tie a string around the pinecone.

Step 6:

Spread the peanut butter.

Step 7:

Dip the pinecone in the bird seed.

Step 8:

Do some internet research to determine if oldeander bushes are poisonous to birds.  Find out that they are.

Step 9:

Decide that birds are tough guys and can handle it.  Clip surrounding branches so that these butch birds are not touching toxic parts while trying to feed.

Step 10:

Say a little prayer that the birds are smart enough to eat the good stuff and stay away from the dangerous stuff.

Step 11:

Wait for the avian cavalry.

P.S.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!!

We were issued a warning from our town not to hang bird feeders of any kind so that bears don't come.
