The first day of 2010

We have been going for walks every morning this past week. We walk to the lakes in our neighborhood and feed the ducks. We're going to have to start factoring a duck food budget into our overall grocery bill.

We always come home with a pinecone. Today we also came home with a lemon that we stole from the neighbor's tree. Don't tell. Spencer was born in early September, 2007. He was due in early October. One of the only perks of having a premie was that I got an extra month of maternity leave. I went back to work on January 3, 2008. I was FREAKING out about leaving him, even though I was only working 2 days a week and Michael was staying home with him. I wanted to take some pictures that I could take to work with me. No better time than New Year's Day to take some mommy/baby pictures.

He's so tiny. And I look so tired. We recreated these pictures today. Spencer is tiny no more. And I don't look so tired. And yes, it is the same sweatshirt. I don't update my wardrobe very often these days.
