DAD pictures- 2021

This is the 10th year we have taken the DAD pictures for Father's Day.  The set up (black shower curtain behind, black sheet on the ground) now takes twice as long as the actual pictures, which is lovely.

A trip down memory lane, when taking these three pictures was a day long venture. 

The kids both picked Kevin for their "I love you more than" picture this year.  Adorable!

Dad and half birthday prep

We finally finished the gazebo on Sunday the 13th.  Our goal was to have it done by Elliott's party on the 19th, so we did good!

That afternoon I went to Brenda's house for a sisterhood gathering.  Cynthia was in town from California, so I got to meet her baby Gabriel for the first time.  Cynthia took a ton of pictures that day, but the ones she sent by text only show up as thumbnails, so it's not even worth it to share them.  

I was trying to work out on Monday the 14th and Kevin only wanted to sit on me. 

Lots of lounging on Tuesday the 15th. 

9 years 6 months on the 16th. 

Kevin defiantly sleeping on dad's pillow on Thursday the 17th.  He was mad that dad was at work. 

We took all the yearly father's day pictures on Thursday the 17th, but that will be a whole post.  Here's a sneak peak. 

Elliott never got to have his 9th birthday party in December because of COVID, so we did a half birthday party instead.  That will also be a whole post, but I prepped everything on Friday the 18th, so here is that sneak peek. 

Summer time home projects

Kevin got a new bed for the family room on Sunday the 6th.  I did this so we could take his family room bed and put it in the guest room, where Michael works.  Little did we know that a few days later Michael would get an email saying there is to be no more working from home and he has to come back to the office.

13 years 9 months

We decided to take Spencer's loft bed down on Monday the 7th.  I put it on FB marketplace and it sold in about 20 minutes. 

Tuesday the 8th.

Spencer's mirror was in the hallway and Kevin could not figure out who this dog was.  He walked over there to check multiple times. 

We couldn't find him that evening and finally located him in the closet.  He had knocked over a hamper and was taking a nap in it. Too tired from worrying about that mirror dog all day, I guess.

Spencer didn't want anything space themed in his room. We made a give-away pile on the 9th. 

Spencer fell asleep in our bed on the 10th.
