My last week of vacation

The kids went back to school on the 23rd.  Michael and I stayed home together that day.  I didn't go back to work until the 30th so I got Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at home.  Alone.  To do whatever I wanted.

We started Tuesday the 24th with a visit from this black cat that frequents our backyard.

As soon as the kids left for school I started my main plan for the week.  To binge watch both seasons of The Handmaid's Tale.
Oh.  My.  God.  So good.  So, so, so DAMN good.  I'm obsessed and I cannot believe I have to wait until April for Season 3.   I'll probably watch all the episodes two more times before then.
Wednesday the 25th was hot and miserable.

We made these videos that evening.  I downloaded an app to do these and it's easy to use, I just can't figure out how to change the music.  I have two songs available and I don't know how to add more.

Then we went in the pool.

More videos. Same music.

Cool looking moon.

We had gone school supply shopping on Wednesday afternoon.  I bought these folders for myself.
On Thursday the 26th I went to the periodontist for my four week check-up on the gum graft.  Everything looks great.  I still had some dissolvable stitches that had never dissolved, so they cut those out and I bled profusely when they did that.  It's good because it means the grafted tissue "took" and is mine now.

I took this picture to send Michael to show him I was picking up Thai food for myself before going home to watch The Handmaid's Tale.
And I took this one to show him I was in comfy clothes on the couch eating Thai food while he worked.

I made celebratory pina coladas that night.

On Friday I stayed home all day and watched the remaining episodes of The Handmaid's Tale and took a nap and it was just about the best day ever.  I also didn't take a single picture.
