We've been in the new house for 11 days. Thanks to my slightly neurotic and obsessive compulsive ideas about unpacking and a lot of hard work on the part of me, Michael, my mom and Michael's parents....... more than half of the house is totally done.
My father-in-law and I spent all afternoon and the better part of the evening hanging pictures. None of the walls in this house are painted, but I think the pictures bring a little color to the palette.
The entry way
The family room and the office area (in the corner). If you look closely at the computer screen you'll see my blog. How trippy. Looking at a picture of the blog on the blog. The family room looking into the dining room/living room.
Ginger's little nook
The hallway. The first door on the left is a closet. The second door is the guest room. The thrid door (that you can't see) is the laundry room. At the end of the hallway on the left is the play room/den and on the right is Spencer's room. The first door on the right is the bathroom and the second door (that you also can't see) is the master bedroom. The hallway/entryway area by the master bedroom. I thought it would be a perfect area for some toy and shoe storage. This is one of Spencer's favorite spots.

It looks like a beautiful home! Congrats! I know moving is a pain, but you are doing it in style.
Ok, so SERIOUSLY will you come help me decorate my house one of these days or weekends? You have style. I have none. Help!
Looks good!! I am the same way, have to get all the boxes unpacked, clutter removed ASAP when moving.
I am sorta mad - no, alot mad. Your house, that you just moved into 11 DAYS AGO looks like a magazine and mine, that I have been living in for 6 YEARS just got a couple of pictures on the wall in January during a frantic nesting session. Can we come live with you?
Now I'm really mad - I just had to retype that whole message ONE HANDED (thanks stupid pump)because for some reason non-bloggers get errors when they want to comment. Hmm... maybe that's an excuse to start one! Love the casa, Natalie!
Oh I hate error messages. I get them on facebook a lot. I have actually started copying everything I type before hitting post so that when it comes back error, I can just paste it.
And yes- you can come live with us. We have 700 more square feet than before. Sometimes I feel lost in this house. Going from the kitchen to the garage requires a travel agent.
Wow Natalie I'm really really impressed! Your place looks fantastic.
