Christmas Day 2011

Our Christmas Day got off to a late start.  Spencer got up at 9:00 and despite it being Christmas morning, was happy to snuggle in our bed for a while and watch some cartoons while I finished nursing.

Then it was into the living room to discover what Santa had left.

Elliott is very advanced and bought this game for Spencer.
Cranky was Spencer's favorite gift.
Even though all he talked about the whole month of December was getting a talking James.
Spencer was kind enough to open Elliott's gifts.
Including 3 (yes 3) baby's first Christmas ornaments.  Well, one of them is just the letter E.
The kids got dressed
Then it was off to my aunt and uncle's house.
I spent most of the time sitting with Elliott on my chest so I didn't take many pictures.

My cousin was kind enough to occupy Spencer's time with some wrestling.

And there was an awesome pile of leaves for jumping.

And that was it.  Not even close to what we normally do, but nothing about this December was.

That's ok about nothing about December or Christmas being the normal!

You welcomed a healthy son into your lives and that's really all that matters.
