Dinner With the Girls!
Chelsea and I met in 3rd grade. She was the friend of a friend. Karen and I met in 5th grade. In 7th grade Chelsea started at our school too. In 9th grade (1993!!) we all went to the same High School where Laura joined the group.
This is the oldest picture I could find of the 4 of us. It was Laura's birthday party our freshman year.
Laura and 5-month-old Sara. Karen and 4-month-old Tyler. Chelsea and 9-month-old Zac. I somehow didn't get a picture of Chelsea with Zac and 2.5-year-old Lilly together. (Chelsea would like everyone to know that she was running in a scavenger race immediately prior to the party. She thinks she looks less than party-ready. I think she looks beautiful and doesn't need a disclamer).Karen, me and Laura
All the girls with all of our babies
The dads acting the part of the paparazzi. I can't believe someone took a picture of the men taking pictures. We all have such beautiful children
The whole group- dads included. Jeremy set the timer and had 10 seconds to get through an obstacle course and join the picture. It came out great considering there are 5 babies involved. Michael with Spencer and Lilly. We've already decided that Spencer and Lilly will couple-off in High School. Zac and Tyler have to fight for Sara. My family It was a great night with good fun, lively conversation and happy kids. Nobody was ever sitting at the dinner table together for more than 10 seconds. Everyone was up and down helping kids, trading fussy babies, getting a napkin, walking around with a crying kid, etc, etc. It was hilarious. We just had to laugh about how different our lives are now compared to when we were 16.When is the next get-together girls?

How cool. It's nice to have great friends you share a history with. You all still look so young and fabulous!
:)
I told Chelsea that next get together will involve a huge room, a few teenage babysitters, and free time for the parents to be together, but know the babes are cared for in a nearby room....you all look great!
OMG I can only smile while reading your post. It was SO much fun and I am so blessed and lucky to have great friends! We definitely need to plan our next get together - possibly including those teenage babysitters my mom mentioned!!
Well I will be hard-pressed to make an interesting post about this weekend after you and Chelsea's!! I can't believe those photos photos of us freshman year of high school and college!
