Catching up: September #1

I met Laura at a fancy hotel in Scottsdale on Thursday September 9th.  She was on day three of a conference.  I went to the pool while she went to her last meeting. 

There was wine in that cup.

I stopped at the Nespresso store on my way home on Friday the 10th.  I love the Nespresso store!

Laura came to stay with me for the weekend while Michael and the kids went to her house to stay with her family. 

Elliott was missing Kevin on Saturday the 11th, so I sent him pictures. 

Laura and I went out for breakfast. Yum!

We got this fancy letter from our homeowner's association on Monday the 13th.

I saw my oncologist for a follow-up on Wednesday the 15th.  I brought Baby Yoda earrings for her.  I wore my own pair so we could match. 

Michael and I went out for lunch after. 

And, unfortunately, that is where the blogging catch-up will end for the time being.  I had hoped to finish September before we left for our fall break trip, but, no.  I didn't get to the second half.  So, when we get home in a week I will finish September and then jump right into our two-week fall break adventures.

Catching up: Spencer's birthday

Spencer turned 14 on Monday, September 6th.  It was Labor Day, so we all got the day off for the occasion.  

This post will be fast because he didn't want a lot of fanfare.

Kevin and I walked early in the morning and then waited for the birthday boy to get up. 

We ordered breakfast from a local place and ate at home. 

Then, presents.  I was allowed to take pictures of that. 

I bought this card because it looked like Kevin on the front. 

Kevin helped with everything. 

Same treat (different flavor) as my birthday for lunch.

We got burgers for dinner and then Spencer requested Crumbl cookies for dessert.

The waffle one was really good.
