Las Vegas on Sunday

Look at what an awesome and thorough blogger I am.  Totally dedicated to my craft.

I DID, in fact, take a picture of the second bathroom in our suite. I just forgot that I took it.

I also took a picture of the washer and dryer,

and dishwasher.  Because I know you care.
We checked out of the hotel on Sunday morning and headed over to the Wynn.  Nick wanted to see (but not photograph) their Christmas display.  We walked through the Encore (they are attached) to get there.
My mom and I wanted to go into this store, but it was closed.  We probably saved ourselves hundreds of dollars.

The Encore had some lovely Christmas decorations,

but sadly for us the Wynn still had their fall displays up.

I can't say I blame them.  It was still pre-Thanksgiving after all.

And it's not like it was unappealing to look at.

Look at this gorgeousness.

I wanted to go on the carousel, but for whatever reason I wasn't allowed to.  Maybe because the whole thing was made out of flowers and not actually ride-able.  Weird.

On our way back out through the Encore we stopped for a photo op with this lovely backdrop.

Nick was less than enthusiastic about participating so he stood like this at first.  Jackass.

Our last stop before we left town was for some artisanal coffee.  I did a little research and found that this is reportedly the best coffee on the strip.  It was my only contribution to the trip.

We ordered two croissants for everybody to share and they forgot to give them to us, so they threw in a third for free to make-up for their error.
Then, just like that, the trip was over and it was time to go home.  I sat in the far back the whole way.  This was my view to the left.

And my view to the front.

And my view to the right.  The roses kept me company the whole way home.
I can't think of anything more awful than returning from a fun trip at 6 pm on a Sunday and then having to go to work on Monday.  That's exactly what happened.  I have worked/will work four Mondays in a row due to various holidays.  It's no bueno.

I feel like I have made a lot of blogging progress here.  Perhaps I will be caught up soon.  We can only hope.

Those may not be Christmas decorations, but they were excellent! The flower carousel was amazing! I am sure it was even better in real life. The hot air balloon one looked awesome too. I am glad you all had a great trip. Bummer to having to return to real life and work on Monday. No bueno is right!
