A wrap-up before Easter

I have been a reading machine lately.  That's really good for my imagination and vocabulary skills, but not so great for blogging.  All I want to do is curl up with my kindle (yes, I have totally become a kindle reader) on the couch every night.  Maybe I will do a whole post on the books I have been reading lately.  Before that though, I need to review all of last week before I do a post about Easter.

Last Monday Elliott and I were bored and looking for something to do, so we went for a walk around the neighborhood.  It was the 2nd time in his life that I let him walk instead of riding in the stroller.  He loves being a big boy.

I also took pictures of the Easter decorations.

On Tuesday I finally finished with the linen closet.  It's really hard to take a picture of it, so you can't tell that it actually looks good.  The picture makes it look like a big blob.
On Wednesday Elliott was 2 years-4 months old so we did a photo shoot.

On Thursday Spencer begged us to let him sleep on his pillows on the floor.
Whatever.

On Friday I started day 1 of a 3 day Easter break from Whole 30.  We got donuts for breakfast.

We drove to Tucson on Friday afternoon and on Saturday the kids dyed eggs with Gramme.

It was Elliott's first time.

That afternoon we had a get-together at Chelsea's house.  We started out with an egg hunt.

Mike and Elliott shared a touching moment.  We will share this picture during Elliott's high school graduation slide show.

Then we broke out the slip n slide.

Baby bowling...without the pins.

The kids ended the evening watching Frozen.  Elliott refused to be part of any group shot.
OK.  It's been nice, but I have fictional characters that I have grown to care about deeply waiting for me.

Please, I need a book list at some point! I'm also a Kindle junkie and just cannot decide what to read next!

Man, Elliott is such a ham in his monthly shots.

Ellie has been on a sleeping on the floor kick too, not on pillows like Spencer, but about 10 blankets stacked on each other. It started when she slept on the floor in our room a few weeks back and is now the only way she'll nap.
