Holiday Decorations: The Valentine's Day Edition

I was good. I waited until January 29th to decorate for Valentine's Day. Then we went to Tucson for the weekend and came back late on the 31st, so it's really like I didn't decorate until it was actually February.

There's something about red and pink that just puts me in a good mood. Until Feb. 28th. Then it's down and onto the green for St. Patrick's Day. I love it when Easter is in April so that I can do shamrocks/leprechauns and bunnies/chicks/eggs without them competing.

Spencer helped me pick out these little metal buckets at Target.

This is on the kitchen counter.
Valentine towels just make cooking so much better. The left dining room server. The right dining room server. That love/envelope thing is new this year. I think it adds a little needed flair to the overall look. The Valentine Tree The wreath on the inside of the front door. The welcome hanger on the outside of the front door. The wind spinner. Spencer calls it a habaloo. That's hot air balloon to you and me.I went really gaudy and decked out on the entry way mirror. I love the striking red on the black towels in the hallway bathroom.
Spencer usually throws all the pillows on the ground. Daily. He doesn't seem to notice these. Maybe they're too girly for him.
Even the window above Ginger's doggy door got a little Valentine bling.

Oh, holiday decorations. I do love you so.

You're insane. I love it!
You're getting these obnoxious "anonymous" spam comments too, huh? I've gotten 3 or 4 lately... annoying!

I've never seen so many Valentine decorations in one house before. I'm a little jealous.
