The Trip: Day 6- Home again, home again jiggity jig

So here we are on Tuesday morning in Yuma. We had a little over 2 hours to drive and then the trip was over. The night before we had the air conditioner cranking and I woke up at about 4 am FREEZING. It was so cold that even Spencer consented to being under the covers.

If you just glance at this picture it looks like Spencer has a big hairy arm. When we were at Balboa park we bought Spencer a t-shirt from the train. They had 2T, which he would have outgrown in a couple of months and Children's Small, which is HUGE on him. We bought the Small in the hopes that he will get a lot of use out of it.I think the shirt will probably get holes and fall apart before he grows into it.

Ginger had been staying in Tucson with my parents. My dad drove her back. Doesn't she look overjoyed to be back home with us?
Don't her eyes just sparkle with joy and jubilation?

Natalie-
I LOVED hearing about your vacation . . . it looks as though you guys had a great time. BUT I am VERY jealous. First of all I can't believe that you guys were wearing sweatshirts in July! Crazy! Secondly, San Diego is one of my favorite cities and I wish we lived closer to it.

I must say that after reading all of your posts I am feeling VERY hopeful that next summer Eliza will be ready for a real family vacation. Hmmmm . . . . now the question is where to go!?!
